Deep Tissue Hot Stone Massage
Deep tissue hot stone combines the soothing luxury of hot stone with the therapeutic benefits of deep tissue massage. This four day advanced training course will focus on cross-fibre friction and deep muscle stripping, with the use of heated basalt stones and the appropriate use of pressure and methods of application. Training will also include thermal safety tests, review of the muscular system, home care and practice of stretching exorcises.
Qualification
The award is issued by the Holistic College Dublin and is recognised by ITEC’s graduates association Embody AChT. This means therapists can claim their C.P.D points and the qualification is covered by their insurer.
Pre-requisite
ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage including level 3 Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent
