Connective Tissue Massage and Soft Tissue Release
On this four part advanced training course you will learn how to effectively locate and treat superficial and deep soft tissue restrictions. C.T.M. will focus on ‘ironing out’ adhesions and bunching in fascia. Soft Tissue Release will address adhesions deep in muscle tissue using a lock-in technique and the action of the muscle involved to breakdown ‘knots’. Training will include the nature of fascia, internal and external scar tissue and the development of palpation skills.
Qualification
The award is issued by the Holistic College Dublin and is recognised by ITEC’s graduates association Embody AChT. This means therapists can claim their C.P.D points and the qualification is covered by their insurer.
Pre-requisite
ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage including level 3 Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent
