Temporomandibular Joint (T.M.J.) Dysfunction
On this four part advanced training course you will learn how to effectively treat T.M.J. Dysfunction. Assessment will include tests for R.O.M., deviation and crepitus. Treatment will consist of extra-oral and intra-oral work to locate and release soft tissue adhesions and myofascial trigger points. Training will also focus on the anatomy of the Temporomandibular joint and the development of palpation skills.
Qualification
The award is issued by the Holistic College Dublin and is recognised by ITEC’s graduates association Embody AChT. This means therapists can claim their C.P.D points and the qualification is covered by their insurer.
Pre-requisite
ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage including level 3 Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent
